In 2012, Liby built the first volunteer team serving left-behind children in Guangzhou. With an annual funding support of one million yuan, the 285-member team has been delivering cares to left-behind children. Systematic management of volunteer services has been realized

Caring for children in difficulties

Targeting left-behind children, primary and middle school students in poor areas and children of migrant workers, the volunteer team presented them with free stationery and life supplies to help create an optimistic and happy living environment for these children.

Supporting remote areas

In joint efforts with various sectors, Liby volunteer team donated life supplies to remote poor areas to improve local living conditions.


Feature: Caring for Left-Behind Children, We Are in Action

Most of Liby’s employees working on the production line are from other provinces or cities, leaving their children behind at hometown. In response to this situation, Liby focuses its volunteer services on left-behind children. Through donating stationery and life supplies as well as spending time with them, Liby works to make every child feel warmth. In 2011, Liby initiated the first project for left-behind children, delivering love to schools for left-behind children in remote areas. Over the past seven years, its footprints have covered 14 administrative cities like Nanning, Liuzhou, Guilin and Yulin in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

  • 2011

    The volunteer team visited 14 remote areas in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. In joint efforts with Guangxi TV Station, Liby launched three sessions of students assistance activities, presenting children stationery and life supplies.

  • 2012

    The volunteer team visited Conghua in Guangzhou and helped renovate the school. Volunteers also played music games and danced with local children. Liby donated 200,000 yuan as scholarships for 50 outstanding students and accommodating subsidies to 50 poor students. 10 dedicated bus lines for students were also arranged to help solve the difficulties in attending school.

    The volunteer team visited Dapu County in Meizhou of Guangdong Province. It provided financial support of 120,000 yuan to build a “Liby Young Pioneer Loving Grapefruit Orchard” and another 80,000 yuan to set up the Charitable Foundation for Left-Behind Children, providing support to poor students with outstanding performance. All the earnings of the grapefruit orchard will be contributed to the foundation to improve the teaching facilities and environment for poor and left-behind children.

  • 2016

    The volunteer team visited Qingshen in Sichuan Province and launched a “charitable summer camp” event. Volunteers also prepared nutrient and delicious free lunch, backpacks and stationery for children.


  • 2017

    The volunteer team visited Anfu in Jiangxi Province and launched a “hands with hands class” campaign. The volunteers played games with 40 local poor students.

    The volunteer team visited Weining Yi, Hui and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in Bijie of Guizhou and launched a “warm winter” project, improving education and living conditions for local poor left-behind children.

  • 2018

    The volunteer team visited Kunming in Yunnan Province and launched a “hands with hands class” campaign, bringing Liby interactive class to local students and presented well-prepared gifts to students from poor families.

  • 2019

    The team visited Xinxiang in Henan Province, where it launched a “hands with hands class,” bringing children with interesting science experiment, body-shaping art session, project making, games and happiness gift which included a backpack, stationery, kits for science experiment, sports gears and various Liby products.

    The team visited Huxi Primary School and Dahu Xiejin Primary School in Lixi Township, Yingde County of Qingyuan City in Guangdong Province and launched a “hands with hands class” campaign. Started in July, it involved more than 1,000 parent-child teams and 8,000 households in five communities in Guangzhou. They raised donation to children in mountain villages with a charitable bazar. Together with the donations, the volunteer team brought three interesting classes to children and enfolded them in warmth and caring.
